Details

The Lodge Card Club in San Antonio is considered one of the largest poker clubs in Texas and is better known for its busy cash games. The upcoming series will mark RGPS’s first visit to this poker room. The schedule includes no-limit Texas hold’em tournaments, Omaha variants, and special events for specific player groups.

The series opens on November 5 with the $300 PokerNews PowerStack, which has a guaranteed prize pool of $100 000. It will feature five Day 1 starting flights: the first takes place on opening day, followed by two qualifying flights each on November 6 and 7. Players who finish one of the starting days with chips remaining will return on November 8 for the Day 2 finale, where play will continue until a winner is determined.

For players who prefer more than just no-limit hold’em, the schedule includes several Omaha tournaments. The $300 Big O takes place on November 9, while the $300 Five-Card PLO and $300 PLO with a $20 000 guarantee are scheduled for November 10. Also scheduled for that day are the $200 Six-Max and the $300 Summit Stack with a $30 000 guarantee. Big O is an Omaha variant, while PLO is pot-limit Omaha.

Special events also get underway on November 8 with the $300 Black Chip Bounty and $200 Ladies Event. The $300 Seniors Event with a $10 000 guarantee and the $300 ($150 per player) Tag Team Event take place on November 9. The schedule also includes one-day formats: the $200 One Day NLH takes place on November 11, and the $200 Turbo Ring Event on November 13. NLH stands for No-Limit Hold'em.

PokerNews will provide live coverage of the series’ marquee event, the $600 Main Event. Commentary from the Vse-o-Pokere Editorial Team

For players and organizers of international poker series, such a trip means checking eligibility rules, tournament procedures, and venue requirements in advance. Businesses need to distinguish between marketing a series, accepting buy-ins, and actually organizing gambling, as each stage may raise separate regulatory issues. Participants from other countries should also assess payment, tax, and documentation risks in advance rather than focusing solely on the schedule. We advise and support clients on poker, gambling, casinos, gaming, and legal matters, including project preparation and regulatory risk assessments. Our team helps structure operations so that commercial activities and interactions with players comply with applicable requirements.
