RunGood Poker Series Heads to Kentucky: Six Days of Tournaments and a Main Event with a $100,000 Guarantee

RunGood Poker Series is heading to Kentucky, where The OG Clubhouse in Oak Grove will host six days of tournament poker. The Golden Expedition festival runs from November 17 to 22, 2026, and will feature ten ring events, headlined by a $600 Main Event with a $100,000 guarantee. The most affordable tournaments start at $120, and the schedule also includes satellites for select events.

Details

The tournament week kicks off on Tuesday, November 17, with three events. The $300 Seniors Ring Event starts at 11:00, followed by the $300 Series Opener at 14:00, with a $10,000 guarantee. The evening schedule features the $300 Tag Team Ring Event, with a listed buy-in of $150 per team member. Players who prefer a fast-paced format can also enter the $120 Flip & Go Ring Event Day 1A, available throughout the day.

On Wednesday, attention turns to the PokerNews PowerStack. The $300 buy-in tournament comes with a $20,000 guarantee and two starting flights: Flight A begins at 12:00, and Flight B at 17:00. A $80 satellite runs in between at 15:00. The PowerStack final is scheduled for Thursday at noon, giving players the option to play their starting flight at a convenient time and return for the final tables the next day.

Thursday marks the first big day for the festival’s flagship event. Flight A of the $600 Main Event starts at 17:00, followed by a $150 Mega Satellite at 21:00. Earlier that day, the one-day $300 No-Limit Hold’em Ring Event will offer a $10,000 guarantee. Another Main Event starting flight takes place on Friday at 17:00. Players can take part in a Mega Satellite at 14:00 beforehand, with another qualifier starting at 21:00.

The Main Event will have four starting flights spread over three days. There will be one flight each on Thursday and Friday, while on Saturday, November 21, players will have two final chances to advance to Day 2 — at 11:00 and 17:00. For those looking for a cheaper route into the event with its $100,000 guarantee, organizers have added a $100 Flip & Go Main Event Satellite. These satellites will be available on demand on Friday and Saturday.

Saturday’s schedule also includes the $250 Women’s Championship with a $5,000 guarantee. On Sunday, November 22, players who survived all four Main Event flights will return to the tables at 12:00 to continue their title bid. The $300 Black Chip Bounty Ring Event takes place the same day at 13:00, and the festival wraps up with the $250 Closer at 18:00.

The $400 Pot-Limit Omaha Ring Event has its own place on the schedule. It begins on Friday at 13:00 and offers a $10,000 guarantee. For players accustomed to Hold’em, it’s a chance to switch to a four-card format and compete for another RunGood trophy. Flip & Go Ring Events will also be available throughout the week: starting flights are scheduled for November 17, 18, and 19, with the final stage taking place on November 20 at 11:00.

The PokerNews team will cover the Main Event, with live updates spanning the starting flights, Day 2, and the final stage through to the winner being crowned on Sunday. The festival’s full schedule lets players choose from team events, bounties, satellites, and other formats.

What’s Next

After the festival concludes, the tournament results will count toward two season-long races. Players can earn points in the 2026/27 RunGood Player of the Year standings and climb the PokerNews PowerStack Leaderboard. The action in Oak Grove will therefore be about more than just money and championship trophies — players will also be competing for position in the series rankings.

The week’s main question is whether the field can turn the Main Event guarantee into an even larger prize pool. The four starting flights are spread over three days, while $100 and $150 satellites lower the barrier to entry for the $600 buy-in tournament. The final day on November 22 will crown the champion of the Kentucky stop of Golden Expedition.

RunGood Poker Series is bringing a packed schedule to The OG Clubhouse, with no long breaks between events ranging from the Seniors Event and Women’s Championship to Pot-Limit Omaha, Tag Team, and PowerStack. On November 16, a day before the festival officially begins, the $300 RunGood Package Satellite will take place. The club in Oak Grove will then host tournament poker for six straight days, culminating in the $100,000-guaranteed Main Event.
