The series at the Venetian poker room in Las Vegas runs from October 28 to November 15. The Main Event winner will receive a major prize and a place in the WPT Champions Club.
Details
The World Poker Tour fall series kicks off on October 28. The schedule features daily tournaments for mid-stakes professionals and recreational players, including a $600 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em Seniors event for players aged 50 and older, a $200 Event 4 satellite, and $300 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em Bounty tournaments. A satellite is a qualifying tournament whose winners earn entry to a larger event at a reduced cost.
The $1,100 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em Event #4, with a guaranteed prize pool of $500,000, begins on October 29. Starting Days 1A, 1B, 1C, and 1D are scheduled for October 29, 30, 31, and November 1, respectively. Day 2 takes place on November 2, and the schedule lists its buy-in as $0. The series will also feature additional No-Limit Hold'em tournaments, Bounty events, and a tournament for players aged 50 and older.
The Main Event will be the $5,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em WPT Fall Championship (Event #19). Starting flights Day 1A, Day 1B, and Day 1C take place on November 5, 6, and 7. Players may choose one or all three starting days. Those who bag chips at the end of the opening stage will return to the tables on November 8 for Day 2. Day 3 is scheduled for November 9, with the final table taking place on November 10. The final table will be streamed on PokerGO. The schedule lists a $0 buy-in for Day 2, Day 3, and the final table because these are continuations of the Main Event, not separate registrations.
WPT Championship Satellites with a $550 buy-in are scheduled before and during the Main Event: two tournaments on November 4, two on November 5, two on November 6, and one on November 7. No-Limit Hold'em Event #26 with an $800 buy-in and Bounty Event #27 for $300 will also take place on November 8. The November 9 schedule lists Event #28 for $1,100 and Bounty Event #29 for $300. Event #30 for $800 and Bounty Event #31 for $300 will take place on November 10.
The rest of the series schedule includes No-Limit Hold'em tournaments with buy-ins of $600, $800, and $1,100, as well as numerous $300 Bounty events. Seniors Event #32 for $800 and Bounty Event #33 for $300 are scheduled for November 11. Event #34, with a $600 buy-in, runs November 12–14: Day 1A is listed twice on November 12, Day 1C on November 13, and Day 1D and Day 1E on November 14, along with Day 1F Turbo on November 14. Event #34 Day 2 takes place on November 15 with no separate buy-in. Event #35 for $600 and Event #36 for $300 will also run that day.
WPT's return to Venetian follows a summer tournament in which Nico Betbese topped a field of 1,153 players to win $706,960. In February, Nicholas Seward won the WPT Venetian Las Vegas Spring Championship and earned $418,700.
After the Venetian Championship concludes, World Poker Tour will move on to the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas, which begins on November 27. The season-ending series features the $1,100 WPT Prime Championship, the $400 Super Gold Million with a $3 million guarantee, and World Poker Tour's biggest event of the year, the $10,400 WPT World Championship.

For players and companies involved in international poker events, this news highlights the importance of planning participation rules, payments, and checks of each tournament's terms in advance. Businesses connected with gambling and poker need to assess advertising materials, affiliate mechanisms, and requirements for promoting such events separately in each jurisdiction. We advise and support clients on poker, casino, gambling, and gaming law matters, including analysis of tournament operating models and advertising integrations. Particular attention should be paid to the distinction between direct event registration and participation through satellites, as these formats may be handled differently in user-facing documents and communications.
